Round or Spherical Gifts

1. Measure how much wrapping paper you will use by wrapping it around the object so that it covers the entire object.

2. Cut out the same amount of paper on all sides, so cut out a square.

3. Cut that into eight equal strips.

4. Wrap a strip around the object and tape it down.

5. Continue to wrap strips around the object, until it is completely covered. 6. Smooth down edges and tape if needed, then you’re done!

Box-Shaped Gifts

1. Measure how much wrapping paper you will use by leaving about as much space as the gift takes up above and below it. Leave about as much of the height of the gift on the left and right of it. Then, cut it out.

2. After cutting, take the wrapping paper on the bottom and wrapping it taught around the bottom half of the gift. Tape it to the box, so it stays in place. Repeat for the top and tape it so that it is tight around the gift.

3. Then, turn the box so one side is facing you. Push on the side of the wrapping paper (on the left) until it touches the gift. Tape it there, and then flatten the wrapping paper to the side. Fold the paper on the top and bottom to make creases so the paper remains flat on top as well as on the side of the gift. Repeat for the right side. Overlap the wrapping paper to create a triangle on the top and bottom. Tape it so it stays tight around the gift.

4. Fold the top triangle down and tape it. Then fold the bottom triangle up and tape it.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 on the other side of the gift, and then you’re done!

Cylindric Gifts

1. Measure how much wrapping paper you will use by wrapping the paper around the curve and making sure it covers the object. Leave a few inches above and below the object. Cut it out.

2. After cutting, wrap about half of the paper around the object. Tape it there.

3. Wrap the rest of the wrapping paper around the gift, and tape it down so it is tight around the gift.

4. Cut off excess paper on the sides, so there is only about 1-2 in. of paper not touching the gift.

5. Turn the object to one side. Fold one side in so it touches the gift. Tape it there, and flatten it out along the side. Fold the paper on the top and bottom to make creases so the paper remains smooth on top as well as on the side of the gift.

6. Do the same thing for the other side. Overlap the wrapping paper to create a triangle on the top and bottom. Tape it so it stays tight around the gift.

7. Fold the top triangle down, smooth it out, and then tape it to the side of the gift.

8. Fold the bottom triangle up, smooth it out, and then tape it to the side of the object.

9. Repeat number 5-8 for the other side, and then you’re done!

Other (works for any gift)

1. Measure how much wrapping paper you will use by wrapping it around the object so it completely covers it.

2. Cut out a square of the length on all four sides.

3. Wrap the left and right side loosely around the sides of the object and tape the edges together.

4. Take the object out of the wrapping paper, and then flatten the paper.

5. Fold up a few inches of the bottom.

6. Vertically open the bottom inches you folded up. Flatten it, so it should appear that there are two triangles, one on right, and the other on the left.

7. Fold down top to the center. Fold up the bottom to the center.

8. Tape the two flaps together.

9. Open the wrapping paper from the top as if it was a bag, and stand it up. Place the object inside.

10. Fold a little of the top together and down. Tape it to close the object in the wrapping paper, and then you’re done!
