Four Last-Minute, DIY Halloween Costumes

It’s almost time for the spookiest holiday of the year – Halloween! October’s a month full of fright, excitement, and oops, forgetting to get a Halloween costume. But do not fear – we’ve found the perfect Halloween costumes that you can make at home. For these 4 spook-tacular Halloween costumes, looking great is a cinch!

1. Deer

For this witty costume, go as a deer and all you’ll need is facepaint, a faux-fur vest, and an antler headband. If you don’t feel like buying the headband, it can easily be made with brown felt and a normal headband. You’ll be sure to look adorable with this one-of-a-kind get up!

2. Queen Bee

This is one of my favorite DIY costumes because it’s  cute and simple all at once. All you need is some yellow or black (or both) clothing items, yellow or gold cardstock paper that you can cut into a crown, black pipe cleaners, a headband, and two yellow pom-poms. Simply glue your makeshift crown onto the headband, and then inside the crown, glue the two black pipe cleaners. Twist them so they give off a curly-que effect, and then glue the yellow pom-poms on the ends. This is such a great costume idea!

3. Sia

Talk about a CHEAP thrill! All you need to buy for this costume is Sia’s signature half black/ half white wig, or a nice platinum blonde one that looks like the picture above. Then find any black and white outfit you have, and you’ll immediately be The Greatest!

4. Rosie the Riveter

To be totally honest, this is probably the easiest and most simple costume that you can find. All you need is a denim shirt, a red bandana, and blue jeans and you’ll immediately be rocking this costume!

These costumes are few of many great ideas to rock Halloween with some stuff with a very low price, or just around your house. Have fun with them, be safe, and have a very spooky Halloween!
