Counselor Brian Hendricks displays a few of his closest pals for students to admire while he assists them in the college application process.

While the application process is long and there are a lot of steps to complete, most student stress comes from lack of preparation and time management issues.

College and Career Center Counselor Brian Hendricks says that students can help themselves by staying organized.

“If you rush through the process, there is always the risk of something not getting turned in on time,” Hendricks said.

Some students might also worry that they are not on the right track with their essays or their applications, but Hendricks encourages students to just pop in to chat.

“My door is always open” Hendricks said. “Don’t be shy, we are all very nice people that just want to help you!”
